It was a weekend to remember at the National livestock show in Tullamore for the Lisduff team who secured both the male, female and supreme championship.
The herd which is owned and run by the Leo and Anne McEnroe based outside Virginia in Co Cavan took top spot with their junior cow Lisduff Lady Faye Z216. This two-year-old first calver is sired by Liss Buster S621 and out of Baronagh Lady Faye.
Taking the overall male championship was the Lisduff herds stock bull Dairemor Red Tulip. This six-year-old bull is sired by Dairemor Red Rob and out of Dairemor Red Rosa.
Standing reserve female and reserve overall champion was Saoirois Bindaree B016. Bred by the Connell family, Oldcastle, Co Meath. This September 2025 born heifer is sired by Netherallen Peter Pershore and out of 2023 All-Ireland champion Bellingham V Trish.
Standing as reserve male champion was Lismurtagh Chief. Bred by Kenneth Bailey, Castlerea, Co Roscommon. This January 2026 born bull is sired by Carrowboy Vegas and out of Tara Becky.
