The annual Lisduff production sale is set to take place this year over the first weekend of September. This will be a timed auction through Ballyjamesduff Marteye and feature a strong catalogue of red and black heifers and bulls. Owned by Leo and Anne McEnroe who are based outside Virgina in Co Cavan the sale is leading with the slogan “We don’t just breed the champions, we sell them”.

This is very much the case with this year’s sale quiet special in the fact it features not one but two overall National champions from Tullamore show. Leading off the sale as lot one is the female and supreme National livestock show champion 2026 Lisduff Lady Faye Z216. This stunning two-year-old first calver will be sold with her smart bull calf at foot with both the cow and calf securing red rosettes at Virgina show recently before going on to be overall champion also. She is sired by Liss Buster who previously sired progeny to €15,200 and will also have a host of daughters and bulls in the sale!

Also selling is this year’s overall male champion at Tullamore National Livestock show, Dairemor Red Tulip. This powerful six-year-old red Angus bull is sure to garner a lot of attention given his presence, show ring performance and page of stars.

The herd is a firm believer in selling stock that will go on and do for others what they can do for them. This was highlighted last year when a heifer purchased from Lisduff sold to an impressive €15,200 for the Mogeely herd.
