Taking place over the August Bank Holiday, the Mercury Matrons Aberdeen Angus Sale offers unrivalled access to some of the country’s finest breeding Aberdeen Angus females.
In 2025, the herd was crowned All-Ireland Champion Medium Herd. Offered in the sale is every female born before 1 January 2023, including nearly all of the females that helped secure this prestigious title.
These females carry some of the strongest pedigrees ever brought to market. Many of these young cows have already bred show champions and sale toppers which have broke records.
Included in the sale are:
• A Supreme All-Ireland Irish Aberdeen Angus Champion
• The dam of the €27,800 Irish record-priced male
• The dam of a Munster Marvels sale topper
• Dams of numerous Munster Aberdeen Angus Club calf champions
• Dams of multiple bulls sold to pedigree herds
The service sires used are equally impressive, offering buyers the chance to breed a future show or sale topper under their own prefix. Many females sell scanned in-calf to Luddenmore Victorious, Supreme National Calf Show Champion. The second service sire, Garryedmond Willie, is sired by the famous HF Rebel and comes from the renowned Evora family. We believe this bull has a big future.
This is a timed auction, with lots beginning to close at 8pm on Monday, 3 August.

The Mercury herd is a high-health-status herd and is a C10 herd for TB, with no outbreak since its establishment.
• All cows have been vaccinated for Bluetongue
• All cows have been scanned by ReproDoc
• All cows are being sold on their own; calves will be weaned prior to departure

• All cattle are sold as seen, with notes made to the best of the vendor’s knowledge at the time of writing
