Autumn Advantage sale tops at €8,400

The brand-new Autumn Advantage bull sale was hosted online through the 19th to 22nd November. The timed sale featured a select number of show bulls from the 2025 show circuit. A timed sale the sale closed with a racehorse finish at 3pm on the day of the National calf show.

Leading the prices and following suit from the Extravaganza was Malachy Tighe with his
September 2024 born bull Tara Jubilee Eric A072. This powerful young bull is a full Et brother to the previous months sale topper which sold for €12,500. Sired by Stouphill Mr Perry his dam line contains the Ebony, Kim, Evora and Rosa Erica family lines. Just before
the timer hit zero, Jubilee Eric A072 was awarded the title of Senior male champion at the National calf show. Securing the sale topper at €8,400 was a pedigree breeder from Co
Leitrim.

Next in line at €5,600 was Lisduff Red Eamon A255 from Leo McEnroe, Co Cavan. This May 2024 born bull is sired by imported German stock bull Azh Pascha who had already sold
bulls to €9,500. He was secured by a local farmer.
The €4,600 mark was hit on two occasions. First at the money was Luddenmore Topnotch
A664 from Dr Michael Sheahan, Cappawhite, Co Tipperary. This powerful August 2024 born
bull is sired by Luddenmore Ebony Boy and from the well known Tibbie line. This bull also stood reserve senior male champion at the National calf show just minutes prior to the sale closing.

Matching this price was Bridgefield Pluto A805 from John and Ursula Smyth, Castlemartyr,
Co Cork. This bull was sired by the herds former stock bull Carbery Valiant Hero and out Knock Princess X551. This October 2024 born bull was awarded the title of Munster Autumn bull calf champion at the herds competition in September.
