Welcome to the website for the Irish Aberdeen-Angus Association. Here you will find useful information about council members and duties, show and sale dates and reports, as well as any other interesting events coming up in your area.

The association was set up in 1894 with the principle aim of promoting Aberdeen-Angus cattle throughout the island of Ireland.  There are now 600 breeder members registering Angus cattle with the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society.

Lisduff Export Partnership requires for order incalf females 2 years old calving september to november.
Health requirements: IBR free + non vacinated and tested free for BVD.

June 3rd 2013: Interbreed pairs success for Drumcorn Angus herd at Lurgan Show

The champion and reserve champion Aberdeen-Angus from John and  Ann Henning shone for the breed in the interbreed pairs championship at  Lurgan Show at the weekend as they took the top spot under well known  Charolais breeder John Currie. Read more >>>

May 28th 2013: Blelack Evermore J231 leads Ballymena Show

Leading the way in the Aberdeen-Angus classes at the weekend at Ballymena Show under judge Alan Morrison of the Drummer herd,  Maguiresbridge, was Northern Ireland Aberdeen-Angus club chairman  Michael Lagan with his senior bull Blelack Evermore J231. Read more >>>
